Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job in Beaumont, TX

CHRISTUS Southeast Texas St Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 4x10 day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call and weekend availability required.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures with attention to quality and patient safety
• Support other imaging technologists and maintain efficient patient flow throughout the department
• Demonstrate flexibility to work other shifts and locations as needed
• Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance and participate in quality assurance activities
• Resolve issues related to image processing and PACS archiving systems; serve as a PACS Superuser and follow downtime procedures as required
• Ensure completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in the electronic system
• Observe radiation, personnel, and patient safety measures while handling radionuclides and pharmaceuticals
• Complete daily logs and periodic tests as required by state licensure
• Adapt assessment and care methods to accommodate unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and age-specific patient needs
• Provide meaningful support to radiologists and referring physicians

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nuclear medicine experience preferred
• Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) certification by ARRT or NMTCB
• Texas State Medical Radiologic Technology (MRT) licensure by TMB
• Basic computer experience
• BLS certification (AHA) required

Compensation: $3,081 weekly. Assignment begins June 29, 2026.
