Emergency Department RN Job in Maryville, TN

Prisma Health Blount Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Maryville, Tennessee. You will work 3x12 night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with every-other-weekend coverage subject to change based on operational needs. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 2, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,008.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care across all age groups, including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform triage, IV vasopressor administration, blood product management, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Manage arterial lines, central lines, and chest tubes
• Care for ventilated patients and administer procedural sedation
• Interpret 12-lead EKGs, perform phlebotomy, apply splints, and manage BiPAP/CPAP
• Support behavioral health conditions and interdisciplinary patient care
• Float to other units as needed based on census

Environment: The department operates with approximately 130 patients daily across 27 rooms and 44 beds, with a 4:1 patient ratio. You will have access to respiratory services, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy support.

Requirements:

• Current Tennessee RN license
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience; at least 1 year Emergency Department experience preferred
• 1 year EPIC EMR experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI, and PALS
• TNCC preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred

Systems: EPIC documentation system and Omnicell medication dispensing.
