Physical Therapist Job in Davenport, WA

Lincoln Hospital and Clinics is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team in Davenport, WA. This is a 91-day travel assignment running 32–36 hours per week on a 4-day work schedule, working 5x8-hour day shifts. You will earn $86 per hour, with a weekly pay of $2,421.

Your Role

You will plan and execute rehabilitation programs to help patients return to a higher level of physical function after accident or surgery. You will work in a primarily outpatient setting (90% outpatient, 10% inpatient), consulting with patients to understand their physical condition, symptoms, and medical history. Your responsibilities include:

• Diagnose movement dysfunction by observing and listening to patients
• Develop individualized treatment plans for each patient
• Coach patients and teach therapeutic exercises and stretches to improve their condition
• Perform hands-on therapy such as massage to ease pain and promote healing
• Manage or lessen pain experienced by patients with degenerative or terminal conditions
• Collaborate with speech therapists and other care providers to achieve best patient outcomes
• Maintain detailed records relating to patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress
• Report patient progress and current status to family members and providers

Requirements

• Master's Degree from an accredited physical therapy program
• Current Physical Therapist state license
• Experience working directly with patients in a long-term care or hospital setting
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
• Strong documentation skills and excellent verbal communication
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served
