Cath Lab Technologist Job in Clearwater, FL

Morton Plant Hospital is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 4x10 hour day shifts with varying days off, supporting a short-term acute care teaching hospital with 3 cath lab rooms.

Role Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required
• Travel assignment requiring residence more than 100 miles from the facility
• On-call availability required
• Block scheduling may be available based on facility needs

Required Certifications:

• ACLS and BLS
• ARRT R and/or CCI RCIS

Your Responsibilities:

You will treat adult and geriatric patient populations with diagnoses including chest pain, NSTEMI, STEMI, valve disease, and pulmonary hypertension. You will perform or assist with left and right heart catheterizations, CTO, complex PCI, peripheral and complex peripheral interventions, and carotid stenting. Your skilled tasks include ASD closures, cardiac stent placement, carotid stenting, Impella insertion, IVC filter placement, percutaneous coronary interventions, PTCA, EKG lead placement, right heart catheterization, room circulation, rotablator atherectomy, sterile field maintenance, temporary pacemaker insertion, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, coil embolization, and complex peripheral procedures. You will wear red scrubs and maintain the highest sterile field standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Phillips Imaging Equipment, Phillips Xper, and Manifold (training available if needed)
• Cerner charting system experience
• Community hospital background
• Trauma Level I facility experience

Assignment Details:

You will be willing to float within Morton Plant Hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed. This role is based in Clearwater, FL, starting October 5, 2026, and offers weekly pay of $2,500.
