Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work rotating weekend shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• Work on a Med/Tele unit performing general medical-surgical duties
• 2+ years of Med/Tele specialty experience required
• 2+ years of hospital experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Active Texas RN license required - temporary licenses are NOT accepted; active compact RN license accepted
• Meditech documentation system experience preferred
• No on-call requirements
• Perform procedures including IV initiation, NGT, Foley catheter, dressing changes, and ADL support
• Responsible for nursing practice decisions including promotion of safe and therapeutic environments, demonstration of competence, and supervision of staff as designated
• Must be competent in patient experience standards including AIDET, Bedside Reporting, Hourly Rounding, and Service Recovery
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs with facility embroidery - proof of purchase required
• No artificial nails, gel, or next-gen nails permitted
• Hair must be neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder length or longer; no extreme styles or colors
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited, including nose rings and tongue rings
• Body art must be covered whenever possible
• Floating policy applies as needed
