RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Travel Swing Bed RN position for a 13-week assignment
• Night shift hours from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Weekends required
• Call required - no standing call, but may be placed on call if volume supports, not to exceed 48 hours of call-off time per standard contract
• Floating required - primarily to Med Surg for patient assignments; may be floated to other units for tasking with existing competencies only
• 48-hour weekly guarantees may be accommodated
• Blocked scheduling requests may be accommodated; no week on/week off scheduling
• Unit consists of 10 beds with a patient ratio of 1:10 for swing patients only
• Provide nursing care for up to 10 inpatient rehab (Swing Bed) patients
• May absorb Med Surg patients if swing volume decreases
• Patients require less nurse-intensive care than traditional Med Surg patients but require the same skill set
• Scrub color: Any solid color
• EMR system: MedHost
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Rehab and/or Med Surg experience required
• BLS certification required
