PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• 13-week travel assignment working 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Located on the 4th floor of the Main Tower in the PCU unit
• 36-bed unit with a patient ratio of 4:1 or 5:1
• Day shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 9 RNs, and 5 PCTs
• Strong critical thinking skills required
• EKG interpretation skills required
• Prior experience titrating cardiac medications preferred
• Perform occasional procedures including paracentesis and thoracentesis
• Team-oriented personality a strong fit for this unit
• EMR system: Meditech
• May float to ICU or Med-Surg as needed
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
