PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• 13-week travel assignment working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Located on the 4th floor of the Main Tower in the PCU unit
• 36-bed unit with patient ratios of 4:1 or 5:1
• Night shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 9 RNs, and 4 PCTs
• EMR system: Meditech
• Strong critical thinking skills required
• EKG interpretation skills required
• Prior experience titrating cardiac medications preferred
• Perform occasional paracentesis or thoracentesis procedures
• Team-oriented personality a strong fit for this unit
• May float to ICU or Med-Surg as needed
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
