Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Patient population: Adults to Geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Unit systems: Epic (preferred), Pyxis
• Scrub color: OR scrubs provided by the facility
• Every other weekend required unless otherwise specified
• May float to Main OR in rare instances
• Call requirements: Overnight call after shift approximately 2 times per week; Regular day call approximately 1 time per month (13-15 days per month); Approximately 2 weekend call shifts per month
• Holiday coverage expected: If 1-2 major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work all of them; if 3 major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work 2 of them
• Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract
• Endovascular experience required; vascular service line and EVAR experience required
• Preferred experience with CSI and Penumbra equipment
• Skills include: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aortic Aneurysm repair, Arteriovenous fistula repair, Carotid angioplasty, Carotid artery stenting, Carotid Endarterectomy, CABG, CVOR, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, IABP, MAZE Procedure, Mitral valve replacement, TEVAR, TAVR, and Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD)
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required
