Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Lafayette, IN

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana. This is a day shift position running 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, scheduled as 4 days per week, 10 hours per day. The assignment is 91 days, with a start date of August 17, 2026. Your weekly pay is $2,914.

You will manage a daily census of 6–10 adult and geriatric patients across 2 procedure rooms. Your responsibilities include both scrub and circulating duties for a range of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. You must demonstrate strong experience with interventional cases and STEMI management, comfort with EP devices, and knowledge of arrhythmia induction and dysrhythmia interpretation and management.

Procedures you will support include:

• Impella insertion and IABP placement/removal
• Left and right heart catheterization
• Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and balloon angioplasty
• Rotablator atherectomy
• Stent placement and carotid stenting
• Pacemaker and defibrillator device placement and programming
• Cardiac ablation and mapping
• Thrombectomy
• TAVR and Watchman procedures
• Renal artery stent placement
• Upper and lower extremity angiography

You will be required to float within IU Health Arnett Hospital and to affiliate hospitals as needed. On-call duties include approximately 10 shifts per month, with weekend call rotations expected.

Requirements: Minimum 1.5 years of cardiac catheterization lab experience. Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required. TAVR experience is preferred. Familiarity with the Cerner electronic health record system is preferred.
