SLP Job in Anchorage, AK

You will work as a Speech-Language Pathologist at Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage, serving patients with communication, swallowing, and related disorders. This travel position runs for 13 weeks, beginning September 22, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3 days per week, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shifts
• Duration: 91 days
• Weekly pay: $1,566

Your Role

You will provide direct clinical services within a hospital setting, evaluating and treating patients across the lifespan. Your work will focus on communication disorders, swallowing disorders, voice disorders, and other speech-language pathology needs. You will conduct patient assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions aligned with each patient's goals and medical status.

Team Collaboration

You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team including nurses, physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and case management staff. Effective communication and collaboration with team members will be essential as you implement coordinated care plans and contribute to positive patient outcomes.

Requirements

You must hold a degree in Therapy with credentials as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Current licensure and professional credentials required by the State of Alaska and Alaska Regional Hospital must be maintained throughout your assignment.
