SLP Job in Anchorage, AK

Alaska Regional Hospital is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Anchorage, AK. This role offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic acute care and inpatient rehabilitation setting while gaining experience with specialized equipment and patient populations.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 4 shifts per week, 10-hour days from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Rotating schedule including weekend rotation
• No on-call responsibilities
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: June 30, 2026

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Float between acute care and inpatient rehabilitation areas
• Perform FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing) assessments
• Conduct MBSS (Modified Barium Swallow Studies)
• Work with EPIC and Meditech electronic health record systems
• Deliver evidence-based speech-language pathology services across multiple patient care settings

Requirements:

• Current SLP licensure
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• FEES credentialing
• MBSS credentialing
