Ultrasound Technologist Job in Prescott Valley, AZ

Yavapai Regional Medical Center – East is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join our Radiology Department in Prescott Valley, Arizona. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a rotating 4x10 schedule, offering weekly pay of $2,476.80.

Schedule & Expectations

• Sunday 4:00 PM to midnight
• Monday/Tuesday 2:00 PM to midnight
• Wednesday 4:00 PM to midnight
• 36 hours per week total
• Call required one day per week and one weekend per month on a rotating basis
• Holiday rotation required

Role Responsibilities

• Perform all general ultrasound exams including Para Thoracentesis, Biopsy, and Vascular Exams
• Average 8 to 16 scans/studies per day
• May occasionally float to cover other areas, though not standard
• Use Phillips EPIQ department-specific equipment
• Chart using Cerner EMR and PACS system
• Work in an acute care setting with an in-house Radiologist
• Report to Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional credential
• BLS certification
• RDMS (Medical Sonography) certification required
• RDMS OB/GYN certification required
• Active license required for submission

Preferred Qualifications

• RVT (Vascular Technology) certification
• Vascular exam experience

Facility Details

The department operates three scanning rooms in an acute care facility. Scrubs are not provided. Assignment begins July 27, 2026.
