Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Sunday 4:00 PM to midnight, Monday/Tuesday 2:00 PM to midnight, Wednesday 4:00 PM to midnight totaling 36 hours per week
• Call required one day per week and one weekend per month
• Weekend requirement on a rotating basis
• Holiday rotation required
• Perform all general ultrasound exams including Para Thoracentesis, Biopsy, and Vascular Exams
• Average 8 to 16 scans/studies per day
• Department has 3 scanning rooms available
• May occasionally float to cover other areas though not standard
• Use Phillips EPIQ department-specific equipment
• Chart using Cerner EMR and PACS system
• Work in an acute care setting with a Radiologist in-house
• Report to Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech
• Scrubs not provided
• Required certifications: BLS, RDMS (Medical Sonography Required), RDMS OB/GYN certification required
• RVT (Vascular Technology) preferred
• Vascular experience preferred
• BSN not required
• Active license required for submission
