Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Primarily care for a mix of Medical Surgical Telemetry and Progressive Care Unit patients
• Patient ratios are 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Weekend coverage required
• Float as needed within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius if needed
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; charge experience preferred
• Travel experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Charting experience required using Cerner
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (AHA certifications only accepted)
• Active PA or Compact license required
• Patients served include adults and geriatrics
• Administer and manage drips including Heparin, Bumex, Cardizem, Nitro, Amiodarone, and Dopamine (per protocol, no titration)
• No insulin drips; hypoglycemic and insulin protocols are used
• Perform skills including cardiac telemetry monitoring, central line care, PICC line management, blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP management, and wound care
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
• Candidates must be available to work every other holiday
• Two supervisor references preferred
