Certified Surgical Technologist Job in Kamuela, HI

You are a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) seeking a 16-week travel assignment at Queen's North Hawai'i Community Hospital in Kamuela. This role offers a rotating shift schedule with 40 hours guaranteed per week, at a weekly rate of $2,368. Your assignment begins October 26, 2026.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide surgical technology support in the operating room across general surgery cases
• Assist with patient preparation, instrument sterilization, and intraoperative support
• Float to other clinical areas within your skill set based on operational needs

Requirements

• Two or more years of consecutive full-time staff experience as a CST
• Experience in general surgery
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology or Operating Room Tech training program
• Association of Surgical Technologists certification (NBSTSA) or NCCT certification; candidates without current certification must provide evidence of program completion
• Current BLS certification
• All licenses and certifications must remain valid through the duration of your initial contract

Time Off Policy

Requested Time Off (RTO) during the initial 16-week contract is limited to a maximum of 7 days, scheduled Wednesday through Wednesday.
