Certified Surgical Technologist Job in Ewa Beach, HI

Queen's Medical Center – West Oahu is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a travel assignment in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. This is a rotating shift position with 40 guaranteed hours per week, offering you the opportunity to work in a dynamic operating room environment while maintaining schedule flexibility.

Position Details

• Rotating shift schedule with 40 hours guaranteed per week
• Assignment duration: 111 weeks
• Start date: September 28, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,368

Requirements

• Two or more years of full-time staff experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Operating Room Technologist (ORT)
• Experience in general surgery
• Completion of a Surgical Technology or Operating Room Technician training program
• Association of Surgical Technologists (NBSTA) certification required; candidates without current certification must provide evidence of program completion
• Current BLS/HCP certification
• All licenses and certifications must remain valid throughout your contract

What to Expect

You will work in the operating room supporting surgical procedures in a high-volume facility. Your responsibilities will include preparing surgical instruments and equipment, assisting surgical teams, and maintaining a sterile environment. Based on operational needs, you may be asked to float to other areas within your skill set.

Time Off Policy

Requested time off during the initial contract period is limited to a maximum of 7 days, measured Wednesday through Wednesday.
