OR RN Job in Austell, GA

Cobb Hospital is seeking an RN for the Operating Room on a full-time day shift. You will work Monday through Friday from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, including call responsibilities, in a fast-paced surgical environment supporting general surgery cases.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform the complete nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care adapted to the specific population you serve
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care in the OR
• Participate in interdisciplinary communication including rounds and case reviews
• Maintain timely documentation and promote a respectful, inclusive clinical environment
• Respond decisively to emergencies and function effectively in the demands of surgical care
• Participate in performance improvement activities and research utilization
• Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education
• Serve as preceptor and mentor for other professional nurses and students as needed

Required qualifications:

• RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
• BLS certification
• Associate's degree in nursing or nursing diploma
• Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience required; prior experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills
• Excellent time management and critical thinking abilities

• Weekly pay: $2,072
• 5x8 day schedule
