Cath Lab Technologist Job in Pensacola, FL

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist in the cardiac catheterization laboratory at HCA Florida West Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning April 21, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 4 ten-hour day shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• One weekend per month required
• 6–8 call shifts per month
• Weekly pay: $2,248.40

Role Details

You will provide technical support in a four-room cardiac catheterization laboratory with holding area. You will maintain 1:1 patient ratios and work alongside 2 CV analysts, 10 RNs, and 6 RT scrubs. No floating between units is required.

You will assist with a broad range of procedures, including left heart catheterization (LHC), right heart catheterization (RHC), coronary intervention, permanent pacemaker insertion, electrophysiology studies with ablation, Watchman device placement, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), and PFO closure. You will use GE imaging equipment and document in Merge Hemodynamics and Meditech EMR systems.

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional degree
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current RN licensure
• Demonstrated cardiac catheterization laboratory experience
• Circulating experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Sedation experience
• Atherectomy skills
• Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) experience
• Thrombectomy experience
• RCIS certification

Scrubbing and monitoring skills are welcome but not required. You will join a collaborative team in a well-equipped facility with no unit floating expectations.
