Emergency Department RN Job in Hilo, Hawaii

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a registered nurse (RN) for a 15-week travel assignment in the Emergency Department at Hilo Medical Center in Hilo, Hawaii. You will work nights on a 3x12-hour schedule, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Assignment Details:

• Specialty: Emergency Department (ED)
• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts (36 hours per week)
• Duration: 15 weeks
• Start Date: August 24, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,102.40

Facility Overview:

Hilo Medical Center's emergency department is a 28-bed unit equipped to handle diverse patient presentations and acuity levels. The department includes 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms, allowing you to work across multiple patient populations and clinical scenarios.

Role Responsibilities:

As an ED RN, you will assess patients upon arrival, initiate care protocols, monitor vital signs, administer medications and treatments, and communicate with the interdisciplinary team. You will adapt quickly to changing patient conditions and shifting priorities in a high-volume environment with rapid patient turnover.

Requirements:

• Active Hawaii nursing license required prior to assignment start
• RN credential
