Telemetry RN Job in Steubenville, OH

Join Southwest – UPMC Trinity as a Telemetry RN on a 90-day travel assignment. You'll work three 12-hour shifts per week (36 estimated hours), providing direct patient care in a telemetry setting while earning $2,557 weekly.

Your Role

As an RN, you will manage and provide patient care activities for a group of patients and their families through independent judgment, communication, and collaboration with all team members. You'll formulate daily goals and a plan of care that involves patients as partners and considers individual needs in a holistic manner.

Your responsibilities include:

• Applying the nursing process within the framework of Relationship Based Care to create a healing environment
• Demonstrating critical thinking in identifying clinical, social, safety, psychological, and spiritual issues for patient care
• Utilizing research and evidence-based practice to support improvement in clinical care
• Actively participating in department or unit-specific quality improvement efforts
• Providing detailed and appropriate teaching to patients and families to guide them through their episode of care
• Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with physicians, other healthcare providers, patients, and their families

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• BSN preferred
