Telemetry RN Job in Cleveland, OH

You will provide direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit at MetroHealth Main Campus in Cleveland. This role focuses on monitoring and managing adult patients who meet Medicine or Med-Surg Tele admission criteria, with emphasis on complex patient conditions that require a higher level of clinical proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients on a med-surg tele unit
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs for patients requiring telemetry supervision
• Assess patient acuity and respond to changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient treatment plans
• Document care accurately and communicate clearly with physicians and nursing staff

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio
• Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg Tele experience required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• 1–2 years of additional Med-Surg or Tele experience preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing or other professional certification recognized by the Magnet Association preferred
