CVOR RN Job in Long Beach, CA

St Mary Medical Center Long Beach is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Cardiothoracic Vascular Operating Room (CVOR). This is a 91-day travel assignment starting November 9, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 4x10 hour day shifts with every other weekend (EOW) requirement
• Call requirement with 30-minute response time; call rotation split and rotated separately for CVOR RNs
• First to float with floating to Main OR as needed
• Approximately 2 cases per week in 1 suite with 2 circulators per case ratio
• Holiday shifts required

Clinical Responsibilities

• Common case types: straightforward CABG, AVR, MVR, and Thoracotomy
• Scrubbing not required but preferred
• Charting systems: Cerner and Surginet
• Scrubs provided by facility

Requirements

• Current RN licensure
• ACLS and BLS certifications required

Compensation

Weekly pay: $3,215

This role is ideal for an experienced CVOR nurse looking to expand clinical skills in a structured operating room environment with established protocols and a consistent case load.
