Echo Technologist Job in Santa Fe, NM

CHRISTUS St Vincent Regional Medical Center is seeking an Echo Technologist for a full-time travel position in Santa Fe, NM. You'll work a 4x10 day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with weekend requirements and on-call responsibilities for echo emergency exams outside regular hours.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform diagnostic echocardiograms on adult and pediatric patients with technical proficiency in 2D, M-mode, and Doppler cardiac exams
• Assist cardiologists during dictations by preparing and measuring M-modes and providing pertinent diagnostic information
• Coordinate exam scheduling, patient transport, and accurate billing information with interrelated hospital departments
• Respond to patient needs during exams and report changes in patient condition to the physician or nurse in charge
• Maintain quality control of equipment operation and examination quality
• Coordinate repair services for equipment as needed
• Log patients and exams, file patient records, and maintain department documentation
• Order echo supplies and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms
• Assist with other cardiac procedures as needed

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum two years of active echocardiogram experience
• A.R.D.M.S./CCI registered or registry eligible, or comparable national accreditation
• State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License
• BLS certification issued through American Heart Association

This assignment runs for 91 days, beginning July 13, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,244.
