Opportunity:

Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details:

• Work Sunday through Thursday schedule with no on-call responsibilities
• 10-hour shifts with a case load of 8 TTEs per shift
• Float within facility and scope of practice as needed
• Serve patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform TEE, stress echo, and complete TTE with use of Lumason contrast, 3D and Strain imaging on inpatient, ICU, and outpatient populations
• Perform structural echos including TAVRs, Mitral Clips, MVRs, TVRs, and ASD closures
• Scan patients with devices such as LVAD, Impella, and ECMO
• Enter preliminary reports in collaboration with cardiologists
• Support organ recovery center and spine center scanning needs
• Minimum 5 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, and RDCS or CCI RCS required; ARRT - Sonography with GA license also accepted
• Required skills include: 3D Echo, Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Bubble Study, Emergency Department, ICU, Imaging with Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, Portable Studies, Right Ventricular Inflow Tract (RVIT), Right Ventricular Outflow Tract (RVOT), Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), Treadmill Stress Echo
• Structural scanning experience required including TAVRs, Mitral Clips, MVRs, TVRs, LVAD, Impella, and ECMO
• Maximum of 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• Holiday work is expected based on the number of major holidays falling within the assignment period
