Echo Technologist Job in Atlanta, GA

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an Echo Technologist for a travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. This is a 84-week contract beginning July 13, 2026, with a 5x8 days shift structure and weekly pay of $2,275.20.

Position Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience required
• Travel experience is mandatory
• Current certifications: BLS, ARDMS, CCI RCS, RDCS
• Left-handed scanner capability required
• Epic charting system experience required

Shift & Schedule

• 5x8 days schedule
• Every other weekend coverage required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Maximum 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract
• Holiday work expectations: work all major holidays if one or two fall within assignment; work two of three or more
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day

Clinical Skills & Experience

• Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Emergency Department, and ICU settings
• 2D Echo, 3D Echo, Bubble Study, Color Doppler
• Imaging with Contrast Agents and Pharmacologic Stress Echo
• Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE) and Treadmill Stress Echo
• Simpson's Rule, Diastology, LV Strain/LV Volume, Proximal Isovelocity Surface Area
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred

Equipment Proficiency

• GE, Hitachi, PACS, Philips, Siemens, SonoSite, Toshiba

You will float within the facility and scope of practice as needed. First-time travelers are not accepted for this role.
