Mammography Technologist Job in Midland, TX

Midland Memorial Hospital is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 27, 2026. You will work a 5x8 day shift schedule in an outpatient radiology setting serving adult and geriatric patient populations.

Schedule and Compensation

• Standard shift hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break
• Occasional evening coverage until 7:00 PM (1–2 times per month)
• Possible Saturday coverage from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
• No call required
• Weekly pay: $2,937.60

Key Responsibilities

• Perform 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, and digital mammography
• Execute digital quality assurance procedures
• Manage a daily census of approximately 40 patients across 2 available rooms
• Perform fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, and stereotactic biopsies
• Assist with bone mineral density studies

Requirements

• Current Texas license
• Minimum 2 years of mammography experience
• ARRT M, ARRT R, and BLS certifications required
• Proficiency with Hologic 3D equipment
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Travel experience preferred
