<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>PT - Physical Therapist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM<br>• Provide home health physical therapy services with 6 visits per day<br>• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations<br>• Homecare Homebase/OASIS experience required<br>• 2 years of physical therapy experience required<br>• First-time travelers accepted if they have OASIS experience<br>• DC license required<br>• BLS certification required<br>• Use personal vehicle for patient visits with reliable transportation required<br>• Must maintain valid driver&#39;s license and insurance<br>• May float to cover another zip code within coverage area based on staffing needs<br>• No call or weekend requirements<br>• Mileage reimbursed at $0.58 per mile from first to last patient of the day<br>• Skills include adaptive devices, assessment, assistive devices, body mechanics, COPD, CHF, gait belt, geriatrics, home exercise programs, orthopedics, pain assessment, patient/family education, and skin integrity<br>• Access to interpretation services and social services support</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization provides comprehensive home health services throughout the Washington DC area, offering interdisciplinary care that includes physical therapy, interpretation services, and social services.
