CT Technologist Job in Jacksonville, FL

Join UF Health Jacksonville as a CT Technologist on a 13-week travel assignment. You'll work 8-hour night shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with a weekly pay of $2,911.

About the Role

This position supports a mobile CT unit that deploys to the field for emergency response. You'll perform CT scans across multiple modalities, maintain competency in at least two imaging techniques, and communicate procedures clearly to patients of all age groups. Float requirements and on-call availability as requested are part of the assignment.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of clinical radiology experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• ARRT (CT)(R) certification and ARRT Certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Florida State DOH license at time of submission
• High School Diploma or GED; graduate of an accredited Radiology discipline program required
• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred

Key Competencies

• Knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices
• Proficiency with computer software and basic troubleshooting
• Familiarity with imaging and patient care equipment
• Ability to work with EPIC (Radiant) EMR system
• Canon CT scanner experience preferred but not required

Assignment Details

You must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility. The 13-week contract allows a maximum of 8 days of requested time off. Start date is August 17, 2026.
