Med Surg RN Job in Lawton, OK

You'll work as a registered nurse on a 4 West medical-surgical unit at Memorial Health in Lawton, Oklahoma. This is a day shift position running 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with 12-hour shifts over a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 29, 2026.

Your role focuses on caring for adult patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions. You'll deliver direct patient care, manage treatment plans, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team across a combined Med/Surg unit that serves both orthopedic and neurology populations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing direct nursing care to adult medical and surgical patients
• Monitoring and assessing patients with orthopedic and neurological diagnoses
• Administering medications and treatments as ordered
• Communicating with physicians, specialists, and care team members
• Documenting patient care and progress in the electronic health record
• Supporting patient and family education regarding recovery and post-operative care
