Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Ft. Walton Beach, FL

HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is seeking a registered nurse with cardiac catheterization laboratory experience for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work four 10-hour day shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, providing direct patient care in a specialized cardiac interventional environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Support complex cardiac procedures including TAVR, PFO closure, atherectomy, PCI, right and left heart catheterization, Impella and IABP management, device implants, DCCV, and transesophageal echocardiography
• Manage patients in the 7-bed cardiac cath lab holding area
• Respond to STEMI calls approximately 10 to 12 days per month
• Float to EP and Stress Lab departments as needed

Required Qualifications

• RN with demonstrated cardiac cath lab experience, including structural heart procedures, IABP, Impella, intrafractional reserve, and fractional flow reserve
• Advanced procedural skills in PCI, PFO closure, Impella, and IABP management
• Current ACLS and BLS certification
• Experience with GE Innova equipment, Impella, and IABP devices
• Proficiency with MacLab and Meditech documentation systems
