ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ED

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour shifts per week
• 11-bed emergency department unit with a 1:4 patient ratio
• Work alongside tenured RNs and Critical Care Paramedics
• May be floated to other ERs within the health system on a PRN basis
• Minimum of 1 year of ER experience required
• Basic respiratory care knowledge required including breathing treatments, ABGs, BiPAP, and travel vent
• Work with equipment including Parapac Plus travel vent, Phillips V60 for BiPAP, EKG, GE Cardiac Monitoring, Alaris IV Pumps, Lucas device, and Lifepak Defibrillators
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Required certifications: Active RN license in good standing, BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI
• Navy scrubs required as dress code
• Must be able to work with minimal oversight
