Physical Therapist Job in Davenport, WA

Lincoln Hospital and Clinics is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment in Davenport, WA. You will work 32–36 hours per week on a 4-day schedule, with shifts structured as 5x8 days. The position offers $84 per hour, with expected weekly earnings of $2,411.

Your Role

You will plan and execute individualized rehabilitation programs to help patients restore physical function following surgery, injury, or degenerative conditions. Working in a primarily outpatient setting (90% outpatient, 10% inpatient), you will:

• Consult with patients to understand their physical condition, symptoms, medical history, and referrals
• Diagnose movement dysfunction through observation and patient interviews
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
• Coach patients in therapeutic exercises and stretches to improve their condition
• Perform hands-on therapy, including massage, to ease pain and support healing
• Help manage or reduce pain for patients with degenerative or terminal conditions
• Collaborate with speech therapists and other care team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain detailed records of patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress
• Report patient progress and status to physicians, family members, and other appropriate parties

Requirements

• Master's Degree from an accredited physical therapy program
• Current Physical Therapist state license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
• Experience working directly with patients in a long-term care or hospital setting
• Strong documentation skills and excellent verbal communication abilities
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate patient care
