Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted
• Travel experience required
• Weekend coverage required on an every-other-weekend schedule
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
• Holiday work expected: if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, traveler is expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, traveler is expected to work two
• Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Floats within facility and scope of practice as needed
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS, RRT
• Required skills include: Adult Critical Care, BiPAP, CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), mechanical ventilation weaning, extubation, tracheostomy care and management, nitric oxide (INo), aerosol setup for mask and trach, oral and nasal suctioning, nasal and oral airway placement, sputum specimen collection, metered dose inhaler (MDI), and troubleshooting high pressure alarms, among others
