PACU RN Job in Atlanta, GA

Northside Hospital Atlanta is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This is a travel position offering competitive pay and the opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical recovery environment.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours, day shift (Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM to 10:30 PM)
• Duration: 110 weeks
• Start date: September 14, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,885

Role Responsibilities:

You will care for higher acuity post-surgical patients across multiple specialties, including thoracic, orthopedic, neurology, vascular, urology, and general surgery. You will work under the oversight of a Charge Nurse and Supervisor to ensure safe, evidence-based recovery care.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience
• Current AHA ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Cerner EHR experience required

Scheduling Notes:

The unit operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve). Call coverage on holidays may be required.
