MRI Tech - MRI RAD Tech

Job Details:

• Perform MRI studies following protocols established by Radiologists
• Operate MRI scanner to produce images of consistent optimal quality
• Prepare scan room and equipment as appropriate prior to procedures
• Position patient, coils, and equipment as required for each scan
• Maintain communication with patients throughout the scanning procedure
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist required
• 1 year of experience in CT or MRI preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program required
• Required certifications and licenses: Registered Technologist (R), Registered Technologist (MR), Basic Life Support (BLS)
• American Registry of Radiologists (ARRT) MR certification required within 2 years from date of hire
