Job Details:

• Could work evening or overnight shifts
• 8-hour or 10-hour shifts are possible
• 4 work days per week
• 10 estimated hours per week
• Weekends included
• Independently performs MRI imaging procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative for diagnostic purposes
• Practices and maintains MR safety in the department
• Maintains clinical competency for all exams and equipment
• Performs procedures for reviewing, processing, and archiving
• Reviews patient history and assesses physician orders, applying specific departmental protocols for optimal data acquisition including labeling, preparation, and administration of contrast
• Identifies all patients properly using two patient identifiers and utilizes universal protocol when performing procedures
• Documents patient history in electronic record as required
• Ensures all exams are properly coded and tracked, patient information is updated and documented in Rad Assessment, and all charges are adequately entered
• 2 years of experience required
• Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited CNMT, ARMRIT, or ARDMS program with MR registry required
• Required certifications: ARRT Certificate or ARMRIT or NMTC or ARDMS, BLS, PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, PA Act 73
