MRI Technologist Job in Wilkes-Barre, PA

Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist to join its imaging department. This is a 92-day travel assignment beginning August 24, 2026.

Role Overview

You will perform MRI imaging procedures, operate advanced imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety and comfort during scans. You'll work collaboratively with radiologists and clinical staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging.

Schedule and Compensation

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
• Days shift: 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
• Saturday, Sunday, Monday, plus one weekday evening shift
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekly pay: $2,811.60
• Assignment duration: 92 days

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a level 1 trauma hospital
• Current ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Experience with Siemens 1.5T or 3T equipment (Aera, Sola, Skyra, or Vida models)
• Experience with Philips MRI equipment
• Weekend availability required
• Holiday availability as assigned
