MRI Technologist Job in Wilkes-Barre, PA

You will provide magnetic resonance imaging services at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. This is a full-time travel position offering hands-on MRI technical work in a non-nursing environment.

Role Details

• Operate MRI equipment and perform imaging procedures according to established protocols
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI examinations
• Maintain imaging quality standards and documentation
• Collaborate with clinical staff to support patient care

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM (night shift)
• 5 x 8-hour shifts or 4 x 10-hour shift options (Monday through Thursday)
• One assigned holiday shift required annually
• Backup weekend on-call every 5 to 6 weekends
• No standard on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Current ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• Allied Health Professional degree
• 2 years of MRI experience preferred
• Trauma level one experience preferred

Compensation and Duration

• Weekly pay: $3,124
• Assignment length: 92 days
• Start date: August 24, 2026
