Job Details:

• Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment, computer, and image management systems to perform MRI exams
• Provide direct patient care to high acuity patients including emergency, inpatient, and outpatient cases supporting trauma and ICU patients
• Perform contrast injections under the direct supervision of the radiologist or designated physician
• Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Acquire and produce tomographic images of designated portions of the human body using MRI equipment
• Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce cross-sectional images
• Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS
• Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to examinations
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 24 orientation hours required
• Required certifications: ARMRIT or ARRT MR
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Valid Pennsylvania state license or certification required at time of submission
