Occupational Therapist Job in Cumming, GA

Join Northside Hospital Forsyth as an Occupational Therapist in our acute care setting. This is a 13-week travel assignment offering competitive weekly compensation of $2,551.

Role Overview

You will work within our acute care Occupational Therapy department, supporting patients across the hospital based on physician orders. You'll evaluate and treat a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses, including ICU patients, stroke and neurological cases, orthopedics, and general debility. Your work will help patients regain functional independence and prepare for discharge.

Schedule & Requirements

• Shift: 5x8 days, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with variable scheduling
• 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period required
• 1 summer holiday shift required
• Assignment duration: 89 days, starting August 3, 2026
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in your specialty required
• Georgia state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required
• AHA BLS certification required

Northside Hospital Forsyth is an acute care facility in Cumming, Georgia. You will use the Cerner electronic health record system for charting and documentation.

You are a licensed Georgia OT with solid clinical experience treating diverse patient populations in a hospital environment. You are comfortable working in fast-paced acute care settings and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and independence.
