PACU RN Job in Moses Lake, WA

You will work as a registered nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Samaritan Healthcare in Moses Lake, Washington. This is a days shift position on a 91-day travel assignment starting October 19, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,406.

Your Responsibilities

• Function as both a caregiver and care manager for a designated group of patients, implementing the Nursing Process throughout your shift
• Perform assessment and data collection focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, and cognitive status
• Implement care in a knowledgeable, skillful, and consistent manner in adherence to established procedures, policies, and care plans
• Document patient information in electronic medical records and/or paper processes per facility policy and regulatory requirements
• Direct and oversee the work of other caregivers through delegation, coordination, supervision, and validation of patient care outcomes
• May be required to function as a Charge Nurse, including delegation of patient assignments, coordinating staff coverage, and serving as a unit lead
• Demonstrate competency on department-specific equipment

Requirements

• Current Washington State RN Licensure
• BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider level) required
• ACLS (AHA) to be obtained within 6 months
• PALS or PEARS (AHA) to be obtained within 6 months
• Minimum one year of RN experience preferred, with acute care registered nurse experience preferred
• CPAN certification preferred

Physical Requirements

You must be able to stand, walk, lift, reach, kneel, bend, and stoop frequently during an 8 to 12-hour shift. You will lift and carry up to 30 pounds independently and lift, push, or pull 60 to 300 pounds with assistance. You must manage multiple pieces of equipment, tubes, and invasive lines. Up to 2 shifts per month may be cancelled, or up to 6 shifts within any 13-week assignment.
