Job Details:

• 3x12 shifts, 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• Rotating on-call requirement with staff
• Weekend rotation with staff
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period
• Must work one holiday per 13-week contract
• Strong general, orthopedic (total joints), and neurosurgery experience required - proficiency in all three areas is mandatory
• Big belly, craniotomy, and orthopedic trauma experience highly preferred
• Robotic surgical training highly preferred
• Patient population includes neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Level I trauma OR with 25 OR suites covering services including general, orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastics, gynecology, oncology, robotic, ENT, ophthalmology, pediatrics, and sports medicine
• Special equipment includes ROSA, Si and Xi daVinci robots, Stealth, O-Arm, and HIPEC
• Required certifications: BLS and NBSTSA, NCCT, or Military OR Tech Certification
• Virginia state license required; if holding an out-of-state license, a 90-day authorization will be issued while VA state license is being obtained
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• No local candidates accepted within 100 miles of facility
