Interventional Radiology RN Job in Castro Valley, CA

You will work as a Registered Nurse in Interventional Radiology at Sutter Health Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley, California. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a start date of July 27, 2026, offering 5x8 day shifts at $3,053.38 per week.

Role Requirements

You must hold a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab nursing. Previous experience in imaging services, interventional radiology, cath lab, or critical care is preferred. You will care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, assist with patient positioning and mobility for individuals weighing over 200 pounds, and work with bodily fluids and various substances. Weekend shifts are required as needed.

Clinical Scope

You will support skilled procedures including Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Carotid Angiography, Central Venous Access and Port Placement, Cerebral Angiography, Dialysis Graft Interventional procedures, Embolization, Endovascular Interventions, ERCP, Hybrid OR cases, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab work, Interventional Radiology, and Stent Placement.

Work Environment

This is an OSHA Risk Category I position involving direct patient contact in varying and unpredictable situations, including emergency and crisis scenarios. You will have access to interdisciplinary support including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams.
