Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required with at least 1 year of previous experience in Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab Nursing
• Previous experience in imaging services, IR, cath lab, or critical care preferred
• Weekend shifts required as needed
• Care for patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Ability to assist with lifting, supporting, maneuvering, and adjusting the position of patients weighing over 200 pounds
• Ability to work with bodily fluids and substances and make fine discriminations in sound
• Subject to varying and unpredictable situations including emergency or crisis situations
• OSHA Risk Category I - High Risk position with direct patient contact under a wide variety of circumstances
• Skilled procedures include: Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Carotid Angiography, Central Venous Access/Port Placement, Cerebral Angiography, Dialysis Graft Interventional, Embolization, Endovascular Interventions, ERCP, Hybrid OR, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Stent Placement
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
• Required certifications: RN State Licensure (CA), BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), PALS (AHA or ARC)
