ICU RN Job in Rochester, NY

URMC Strong Memorial Hospital is seeking an RN for a night shift position in the Intensive Care Unit in Rochester, NY. This is an 89-day travel assignment with 12-hour shifts.

About the Role

You will work nights with every other weekend required. Your responsibilities include providing direct patient care, participating in on-call and callback duties as needed, and assisting with charge duties per unit needs. You will demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills while maintaining current knowledge of critical care practices.

Assignment Details

This is a float position that provides exposure to a variety of ICU specialties. You will be assigned to intensive care units based on greatest staffing need, which may include multiple critical care settings within the hospital system.

Requirements

• Current New York RN license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU acute care experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association)

Compensation & Duration

Weekly pay is $2,316.60. The assignment runs for 89 days, starting August 3, 2026.
