RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS preferred but not required
• Must be licensed to work in Missouri
• No blocked schedules permitted - requesting a blocked schedule will result in immediate rejection
• 13-week contract
• 8 weekend shifts per contract required
• Patient ratios of 5:1 on days, nights, and weekends with potential to reach 6:1
• Heavy swing bed population
• Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Patient diagnoses include med/surg, swing bed, respite care, and post-surgical patients
• Post-surgical specialties include orthopedic, urology, and general surgery patients
• Required skills include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy
• EMR experience preferred
• Smoke-free facility
