ED - Emergency Room

RN - ED

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Schedule includes every other weekend and holiday requirement
• Variable weekend hours
• No call requirements
• No float requirements
• 2 to 5 years of Emergency Department or Critical Care experience required with a minimum of 1 year travel experience
• Patient ratio of 4:1 to 5:1
• Work with standard emergency care equipment
• EMR system: EPIC
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI, NIHSS
• Education modules required through education department
• Scrubs required in any solid color with professional attire expected
• Team-oriented unit requiring flexibility, excellent communication, and strong documentation skills
• Care for emergency department patients in a Joint Commission Certified Stroke Center
• Must be flexible with workflow changes due to ongoing construction within the department
• Experience working with behavioral health patients preferred as unit includes 3 behavioral health beds within a locked space and 3 medical/psych swing beds
