Emergency Department RN Job in Lewiston, ME

St. Marys Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to join their team on a travel assignment. You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week for 91 days, beginning October 26, 2026.

Role Responsibilities:

• Assess patients upon admission and throughout their stay in the emergency department
• Administer IV medications, therapy, and blood products as prescribed
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding their condition and care
• Document all nursing care actions, patient teaching, observations, and patient responses
• Serve in a full-spectrum emergency care environment, including the separate Chest Pain Center
• Assume charge nurse and preceptor responsibilities as needed

Candidate Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of previous critical care nursing experience
• Willingness to work charge nurse and preceptor roles when requested
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius from the facility
