Emergency Room RN Job in Calais, ME

Calais Community Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 3x12 rotating shifts and earn $2,250 weekly.

In this role, you will deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency setting. You will communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans, maintain strict confidentiality in all patient interactions, and function independently while responding rapidly and efficiently to emergency situations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing direct patient care and assessment in the Emergency Department
• Collaborating with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary staff
• Demonstrating strong assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills
• Maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

Requirements:

• Current Maine RN licensure or Authorization to Practice pending licensure by endorsement
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• Current BCLS and ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required within six months of hire date
